Caring for your Eclipse mattress
Body Impresions
Body impressions are a good indicator of contour comfort. When they occur, this means that Eclipse comfortized mattress construction is conforming to your body’s personal, individual contours and leveling to its final position. A body impression is not a structural defect but a normal indicator of your mattress’s engineered performance. Your Eclipse mattress actually improves with use!
Turning Your Mattress
To assure maximum mattress performance, you should equalize these important body impressions. Simply turn the mattress end to end, and upside down occasionally during the first three months of use. Then turn it every six months thereafter. This lets your mattress adjust smoothly and evenly to your body weight. One-sided mattresses do not need to be turned, however rotation from head to toe is recommended.
Your Mattress Foundation
To assure proper mattress support, insist on a genuine Eclipse foundation. It is designed to support the special construction in your Eclipse mattress. Turn the foundation end to end occasionally for maximum service and support.
Metal Bed Frames
For queen sets, Eclipse requires using a metal bedframe with a metal center strut, for optimal support of the mattress, boxspring and, most importantly, the sleeper. All Eclipse mattresses are available with high quality, sturdy metal bedframes
The Eclipse Assurance of Quality
Eclipse warrants that this product is free from defects in workmanship and materials, and will remain serviceable under normal use and service for the warranty period, beginning with the date of purchase by the consumer, subject to specific limitations and exceptions subsequently set forth in this warranty.
If this product develops defects for reasons other than misuse or neglect within the Warranty period, the mattress and/or foundation will be repaired or replaced, at the factory’s option. The customer is responsible for returning the product to the dealer from whom purchased, or to Eclipse’s nearest factory location. Replacement or repairs will be made with charges as outlined on the Warranty schedule, exclusive of transportation costs.
Eclipse reserves the right to refuse service when the product is found to be stained, soiled, in unsanitary conditions, or when product failure is due to causes of misuse or abuse, including folding or bending. Bent border wires on the mattress will be considered the result of product abuse.
